we'll give you trees
As of October 2021, AppleCore Services have donated 156 trees plus £175 in cash to set up a grove: a space in 'Glen Afric', on the north banks of Loch Ness in Scotland, which is being reforested and managed on our behalf by the UK charity TreesForLife.
Much of this has been thanks to donations of laptops from companies that also want to make a difference, such as the award winning management consultancy Fluxx Ltd: the first to join us in this journey.
AppleCore's energy is supplied almost entirely by Solar Panels, and virtually none of our waste goes to landfill- over the last year we have averaged just 1 small shopping bag of landfill every 3 months.
The reforestation of Britain (and the world) is a crucial part of recapturing the carbon that has been released (and continues to be released) through the way we have chosen to live over the last 200 years.
